About

This podcast was created by two high schoolers from southeast Georgia who are passionate about honest conversation, and amplifying the voices of young women. We started this podcast because, as female students, we have seen how young women are routinely left out of conversations that directly affect us- leaving our perspectives unspoken, misunderstood, and often ignored.

Our goal is to create a space where information is clear, straightforward, and unbiased. Instead of pushing opinions, we focus on laying out the facts (hence the name Lay It Out) and breaking down topics that actually shape our daily lives. As students, our perspectives are grounded in what our generation experiences, questions, and worries about. We believe young women deserve to see themselves represented in societal discussions, and our views deserve to be taken seriously.

This podcast is about empowering young women to engage confidently in real conversation about issues that impact our future. We are the next generation of leaders- and it’s time we start talking about it.
